SUMMERZCOOL JIMMY BUFFETT
Ok my hero has done it again. Just bought the new Jimmy Buffett single Summerzcool and I love it. Whoa, he is singin my song. This is a great summer anthem and it is surely the year we need to chill out and learn how to enjoy ourselves again. Listen to the video clip(it was the only way I could figure out how to put the music on this stupid blog). And do yourselves a favor. GO SEE A BUFFETT CONCERT THIS SUMMER. He is in Las Vegas this weekend and again in October. Don't miss it. Here are some photos from the two times I got to meet him. The first was in like 1987 at Red Rocks. We got to hang out backstage with Ed Bradley from 60 minutes ( he had just got his ear pierced) and the second was a couple of years ago in San Jose when Steve and Barb got us back stage passes. Tried to teach Steve Fins Up. Not bad for a rookie.

You only got to hang out with Ed Bradley for 60 minutes? That's ironic.
Glad you "jimmied" your song onto your blog. Can't wait to hear it at Powell.
Elle is right that song will be on all summer in powell. cant wait.
I am sorry but I cannot take you seriously as a Jimmy Buffet fan unless you start sailing. Until then you're a Faux-parrothead. Or maybe you have latent sailing tendencies that you've been denying for years. It's time for you to come out of the "schlocker neath the foc'sle" and admit that you're a son of a son of a sailor and be glad you don't live in a trailer.
Kevin, Kevin, Kevin, what are we going to do with you. I have been a Buffett fan ( maybe the first in Utah) since 73 when I bought the record, A White Sportcoat and a Pink Crustacean. Interestingly enough it didn't have any sailing songs on it. I only learned later of his love of sailing, and have never held it against him. You have been so angry about music ever since Flock of Seagulls broke up. But if I ever decide to come out of the schlocker you will be the first to know.
i see you changed your spelling error.
Yeah, Flock of Seagulls. Those were the days. I remember how much you liked their hairstyles.
And what's this about you misspelling a word (gasp)? Thanks for pointing that out Ellery.
Darkman,
I would love to go sailing with you anytime. But there can't be any wind. It bothers my contacts and my knees (and my heart, and my neck, and my achilles, and my hair).
